Repairs following a fire

The Urban Ecology Center is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate the Milwaukee community about the environment, conservation, sustainability, and how to  preserve and protect the natural areas in the city. Children love exploring the Urban Ecology Center’s grounds and facilities, so it was heartbreaking news when a fire was reported. As a result of the damage, KPH is rebuilding several structures that were destroyed due to arson. We look forward to completing the work in 2023 and turning over the structures for the Center’s year-round educational programs for children, families and adults.
