In April, we were invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a brand-new facility we constructed at Truax Field in Madison. This new facility will allow for the 115th Medical Group of the Wisconsin Air National Guard to operate out of a central location on base and carry out its mission to provide immediate incident response to natural and man-made disasters from under one roof.
We were incredibly honored to have a hand in constructing such a vital facility for the 115th Fighter Wing. Our president and CEO, Keith Harenda, spoke at the event, mentioning, “It has been an honor to be part of this important project. KPH crews have been stationed here… constructing this state-of-the-art Medical Readiness Facility since November 2022.”

Harenda also discussed the construction process of this two-story facility, mentioning that “KPH and Equix used some advanced systems to build the Reserve Forces Medical Training and Administrative offices and the medical support storage garage. We deployed 50 structural precast panels and structural steel… with the help of 41 trucks.”

“This new facility represents the highest caliber of design and workmanship… from site utilities, grading and landscaping to all new electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems and detailed finishes — down to the custom terrazzo flooring.”
We’re proud of the efforts of our KPH team and thankful for the coordinating partnership of the 115th Fighter Wing Base and its team of engineers, which ensured this project was successful and will continue to be a vital asset and facility for many years to come.
