Appleton Electric, based in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was founded in 1997. The company is part of Emerson Electric, providing the most trusted, rugged electrical solutions for industrial and hazardous environments across the world.

Its Milwaukee location needed extensive work, so KPH Construction and KPH Environmental teamed up to provide the customer with a cost effective and efficient project. Appleton Electric’s foundry was in desperate need of a face lift as its existing factory windows and siding was showing its age. The foundry remained 100% operational as KPH worked to remove lead- and asbestos-containing factory windows and transite siding.

In the end, KPH installed more than 15,000 square feet of new metal siding and nearly 10,000 square feet of translucent windows that mimicked the original factory windows.
